My name is Amelia (she/her), I’m an Australian performer and communication professional who’s been living in London for over 8 years. I work in the corporate world, but I'm actively figuring out how to get back into the arts and performing (my original passion!).

I've lived in this property for about 7 years and absolutely love it. I currently live with my housemates in a 2.5-bedroom house in Harringay. It’s privately rented through a really great landlord who has put a lot of time and care into the property.

Both excitingly and sadly, my long-term housemate (we've lived here together for 4 years) has purchased a flat and is moving out with our friend who's living in the little half-room currently. So, I’m looking for someone to fill the double room only!

The Details:

The Property: 2.5 bedroom house. 1 bathroom and adjacent living & cooking area. Little backyard and front porch. Fully furnished with a modern bathroom. Kitchen includes an electric stove, fan-forced oven, air fryer, dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave. Photos don’t include the current living room set-up/furniture.

The Room: Double bedroom which fits and has a small double bed. There's also a wardrobe, bedside table, a 4x4 Ikea shelving unit, a good-sized wall mirror, and some mounted shelves. The room is shaped like a backwards L. The photos on the ad are without the bed. Room can be unfurnished if you have your own!

Rent: £800 per month

Deposit: £800

Bills: Split evenly, roughly £160-£200 each per month (depending on usage and season).

Council Tax: Band B

Location: Harringay, North London. ~10-minute walk to Turnpike Lane / ~15-minute walk to Manor House and ~7-minute walk to Harringay Green Lanes overground station. Within a few minutes walk of bus routes 341, 141, and 29. There are lots of grocery stores, takeaways, Turkish food, and anything else you might need nearby on the Harringay ladder. It's generally a pretty safe area.

Dates: Room is available from the end of July / start of August.

About Me:
I'm a 31-year-old Australian woman. I’m usually in the office once or twice a week, and when I’m working from home, I’ll either be working upstairs or on the couch in the living room.

I am very clean and tidy. I'm a big lover of video games (mostly PlayStation and Nintendo), as well as board games and analytical puzzles. I have a collection including Wingspan, Monopoly, Chess, Checkers, and Scrabble, and I'm always down for a game night! I also love film and TV—especially a show like The Traitors.

I enjoy great banter but also appreciate a pretty quiet house. I usually cook a few times a week and would be more than happy to share a meal! 👩‍🍳

I’m a relaxed, easy-going person who gets along with most people, so ideally, I’d like someone similar. I have a long-term boyfriend who usually stays over once or twice a week, so you'd need to be comfortable with that. He’s also a creative who works in marketing as a copywriter.
