Cute, bright and airy period property with wooden floors, original fixtures and fittings, fireplace and big sash window. Separate living/dining room and private garden, too!

The room comes partly furnished - with a bed. Can have an open dialogue about what stays/goes!

Located on small neighbourhood road minutes from Seven Sisters Road and parade of shops including iconic 24/7 grocer's shop Gurbert's, a (thankfully newly refurbished!) pub The Woodbery Tavern, and the warehouse bar/venue New River Studios. It's a short cycle from Stoke Newington (5 mins) and Finsbury Park (5 mins), right by bus routes into Dalston, Hackney Central and King's Cross, and short walk from various stations:

- Seven Sisters (Victoria Line) - 5-10 mins
- Stamford Hill (Overground) - 5-10 mins
- South Tottenham (Overground) - 5-10 mins
- Manor House (Piccadilly Line) - 10-15 mins
- Harringay Green Lanes (Overground) - 10-20 mins

Who are you living with?

I'm a 29 year old music producer and musician, working as head engineer at a lovely studio in Crouch End. I spend an awful lot of time there recording bands and working with my own band too, as well as hosting small live-recorded concerts. Many of my evenings, if I'm not working late (!!), I'm at friends' and colleagues' gigs around London. When I'm not out, I love watching films, cooking (sometimes with my partner who is an amazing and generous chef), playing guitar in my room (quietly!) or reading in the hammock. Occasionally I disappear with my partner in our campervan for a week or so. So, you'll definitely have lots of space and time in the house for yourself!

What I'm looking for:

One of my closest friends has been living with me for the past couple of years but he's moving in with his girlfriend now.

Ideally, I'm looking for someone who is creative, thoughtful, likes a laugh and to cook together occasionally, maybe someone who likes sharing an interesting film or book or album rec on occassion! But also someone who is driven and gets on with their own thing from time to time too - as I will be doing that also.

The flat is my mum's - so none of the estate agent/landlord nonsense - and I can be fairly flexible with stuff. So just let me know if you have particular thoughts/ideas/worries/etc.

LGBTQ+ friendly house (I'm demigender (really don't care what pronouns you use!)).
