One very spacious room to rent in lovely Victorian house. Quiet, tidy, clean.
Walking distance to Stoke Newington Church Street (about 15 mins - lively street with loads of good restaurants etc.), Clissold and Springfield Parks, Woodberry Wetlands and the Castle Climbing Centre.

Good transport (train, bus and tube - Manor House, Seven Sisters, Stamford Hill, Dalston) and good local amenities (e. g. library, supermarkets, gym, sports centre with pool).
Non-smoking house (though OK to smoke outside).
Cleaner normally comes every two weeks.

Share with owner (woman - human rights advocate, writer and dancer).
The room currently available is a very spacious downstairs room, with a double bed, desk, cupboard, new carpet etc. - overlooking the front garden and a quiet no-through-road..
There is a also a living room; well-equipped kitchen; one full bathroom - and a separate second toilet.

The two people who live in the house live quite independent lives at the moment - but we may eat together on occasion when we are less busy.

There is a pretty, south-facing garden at the back of the house. Usual conveniences - central heating, washing machine, wi-fi, microwave etc.

Rent includes gas and electricity (with a fair usage agreement), council tax (Band F), cleaner, tv license. There is a small additional amount for shared monthly expenses (e. g. toilet paper, detergent etc).

Would suit responsible, independent, quiet person - with healthy lifestyle (food, exercise etc) - who is happy to live with the owner, who is over 65 (and very active and busy, and used to living with younger people!)

Best suited for a professional person, preferably working full-time normal 'office hours' and mostly working away from home (ideally at least three days) during weekdays.
