2 week short stay in London + cat sitting 🐾

Hi! I’m looking for someone to rent my spare room for a couple of weeks in April while I’m away. The flat is in a quiet North London estate (Zone 2, Hackney) with great transport links, a spacious living room, and a small balcony with lots of plants.

The room is a bright, comfortable double with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and computer monitor – ideal for a relaxed base while visiting or working in London. Bedding and towels provided. You’d also have use of the kitchen and shared living room.

My flat is in an amazing location, 2 minutes from Manor House tube station, Finsbury Park on your doorstep and lots of green space, a swimming lake, climbing centre, loads of good food options and cinema within walking distance. Excellent transport links with buses, tube and overground. 20 minutes door to door to central London and within easy reach of East London.

About me: originally from London, and currently work as a programme manager at a charity. In my free time, I love music, swimming, food, film, travelling and being outdoors. I'm lefty and LGBTQ+ friendly :)


I’ll be away for the majority of the time I plan on renting out the room, so also hoping to find someone who’s happy to look after my very sweet and affectionate cat, Kiko. She’s low-maintenance but would need feeding, litter tray scooping, and a bit of playtime and gentle company each day. In return, I’m offering the room at a reduced rate.

The room would suit someone who is visiting London for a short time or in between flats. Hopefully goes without saying, but it wouldn’t be suitable for anyone who doesn’t like cats or is allergic. Let dates are 21st April to 4th May (14 days total) but can be a bit flexible a couple of days either side of those if needed. However, you’d definitely need to be there between 22nd April -1st May as that’s when I will be away. Let me know a bit about yourself if you’re interested!
