The room

The room is at the back of the house overlooking neighbouring gardens, so it’s very quiet and private. It’s above the kitchen extension, with the other bedrooms on the opposite side of the house, and the only adjoining wall is next to the neighbours’ kitchen, meaning you don’t need to be overly conscious of making noise (although of course we’re looking for someone who is still respectful) - the current tenant is a singer and DJ and has found this particularly useful ✨

* Very large built in wardrobe with a full length mirrored door

There’s a bathroom directly next to the room which is shared with only one other girl on the floor (so it kinda feels like an en-suite) ✨

All rooms are able to be locked with their own individual keys from the outside (with a twist lock from the inside) which offers extra peace of mind 💘

The location

The house is extremely well connected:

* 5 min walk to Manor House station
* Manor House is just one stop from Finsbury Park where you can change onto the Victoria line
* Both the Piccadilly and Victoria lines run Night Tube services on Friday and Saturday nights
* 5 min walk to Harringay Green Lanes Overground
* Around 15 minutes to Harringay National Rail with direct trains into the City
* Plenty of direct buses (with stops 2 mins from the house) towards the City, Hackney and surrounding areas

The walks to Manor House and Harringay Green Lanes stations are along busy main roads, including late at night, which makes it feel super safe 💗

The house backs onto a retail park with Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Superdrug, TK Maxx and The Gym Group, making food shopping and everyday essentials really convenient and affordable!! There’s also an off-licence directly opposite that stays open until 1am (we’re all friendly with the owners, which is very handy for emergency snacks and hangover supplies 🤣 - they even always grab us an extra chilled wine from the back which is ace after a long day)

Finsbury Park itself is only a 5 min walk away, and there are sometimes opportunities to get free tickets to the Krankbrother events there during summer 💃🏻💃🏻

The house

You’ll be living with five other gals aged 26-28, all working professionals. Everyone is friendly and chatty and enjoys hanging out together (or spending a hungover Sunday in the living room) but equally respects one another’s space and schedules, especially during the working week.

Although six people live here, the house is so large that it rarely feels crowded! There are three bathrooms plus an additional toilet, so only two people share each bathroom.

The (huge) kitchen has two ovens, two fridges and two sinks. There’s a large living room and a large, private garden with high fencing (again feels super safe). There’s also a separate utility room with a washer & dryer.

The house is well built, double glazed and easy to keep warm during winter. The landlord is very responsive and very quick to arrange repairs whenever anything needs fixing.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for another girl in her mid/late twenties who is a working professional (no students, sorry!!) Ideally you’ll be friendly, clean and tidy, and looking for somewhere you can genuinely treat as a home 💗
