Hi,
We're looking for a new housemate to join our calm, clean and well-functioning home in Newington Green (N5).
You'll be living with an artist and Muk, our very gentle (and slightly demanding) 18-year-old Siberian cat. Unfortunately, our other housemate will be moving out soon, so we're looking for someone new to join the household.
This is a home built on easy communication, mutual respect, and a natural rhythm that works. We get on very well, share space comfortably, and also give each other room to breathe.
We are a progressive, open-minded household and value inclusivity, respect, and awareness of others.
The Room
Garden-facing double room with:
• Bed with large storage
• Two-door wardrobe
• Quiet, green view
The House
Ground floor Victorian flat on a quiet residential street, yet very well connected
• A huge, well-maintained green garden
• Small kitchen + cosy living room
• Art-filled space with character
• Great relationship with our landlord
• Friendly, low-key neighbours
It’s a peaceful, warm space that we actively care for and invest in.
The Area – Newington Green
Newington Green is one of North London’s most desirable pockets, known for its village feel and creative community.
Nearby highlights:
• Clissold Park – large green space, ideal for walks and downtime
• Stoke Newington Church Street – independent shops, cafés, and restaurants
• A mix of local bakeries, wine bars, and small businesses
Transport connections:
• Canonbury Overground Station – quick links to East & Central London 5 minutes
• Dalston Kingsland Station nearby 15 minutes
• Multiple buses with easy access to the City and beyond
You get a rare balance of green space + strong connections + community feel
The Atmosphere
Mostly calm, clean, and quiet
Occasionally music, dinners, or friends over
Balanced, respectful, and easy to live in
