The studio is at the top floor of a flat where other people live, and you are welcome to interact with them, though you will have full privacy. In other words, you are a lodger in a quiet penthouse. The only things that are not part of the studio are the garden and laundry machines (separate washer and dryer). You will have free access to both of these, but they are shared. The lovely live-in landlady will help with your laundry if she is at home. Also the floors are heated, so you will definitely be warm in the winter.
