2 beautiful rooms in residential area near station

I currently have one cosy single room available in a spacious, character-filled house located just a couple of minutes’ walk from Lee station. The house is set in the heart of leafy Lee, with Blackheath and Greenwich close by, and offers a warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes it a hard place to leave.

The room is fully furnished with a comfortable single bed, a chest of drawers, small mirrors, and door hangers. There is also additional storage space available in both the loft and the shed.

The house itself has a bright and homely feel, with shared access to a bathroom, two toilets, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable lounge. There’s also some gym equipment available to use, including weights, resistance bands, gloves, and pads.

The current occupiers are myself (I’m 50 and work as a teacher), my 22-year-old son, and a young lady who lodges here and works as an assistant dental nurse. We also share the home with two friendly cats — and a regular visitor: a curious squirrel who often comes by to watch the cats from the garden (but stays outside!).

Directly opposite the house, just 500 metres from the front door, there is a gym with a swimming pool. The area has a real village feel, with lovely local shops, cafés, and green spaces close by. Bus stops are within a five-minute walk, with both day and night buses running regularly.

Free parking is available on the street, and all bills are included in the rent.

This is a calm, respectful, and easygoing home — ideal for someone looking for a peaceful place to live with excellent transport links and a welcoming atmosphere.
