Double Room in a bohemian flat

We're subletting our best room for a short period. King size bed, plenty of space, fitted wardrobe, bookshelf, office desk and chairs, small TV – the bigger one in the shared living room. The large window overlooks a tranquil community garden.

The flat is sunny and airy with windows on two sides, best enjoyed from the spacious living room open to the kitchen through brand new Japanese shoji screens.

The kitchen is fully equipped - the highlight being a Kangen water machine. Anyone who's tasted London tap will understand.

Two overground stations nearby - closest is Queens Road Peckham - plus 24-hour buses for easy access to central and east London. Skehans pub is a short walk away.

The flat is a large three-bedroom shared with one person only: Malcolm, an animation director and tutor, excellent cook, a gay man with encyclopaedic knowledge and great humour. Jerome, a Central Saint Martin’s student, occupies the other room but he will be away for the summer. Free street parking, friendly neighbours.

A professional cleaner comes every two weeks on Fridays at no extra charge.

Bills: council tax, service charge, internet, energy, TV licence — around £90/month, variable by season.
