I’m Damla, the current flatmate. I recently moved into this lovely flat and have really enjoyed turning it into a cosy, welcoming home. Sadly, my current flatmate is moving back to her home country, which means her room is becoming available.

A little bit about me: I work full-time, enjoy keeping active, and appreciate a calm, tidy, comfortable home. I value my own space but would love to live with someone I can genuinely get along with—someone to chat with in the kitchen, share the occasional glass of wine or cup of tea after work, and enjoy those little everyday moments that make a flat feel like home.

This isn’t a party flat. We both deserve a good night’s sleep, so quiet time after 10pm on weekdays and Sundays is important.

A few things about the flat:

✨ Comes with a free fluffy cat called Bubble. She’s 5 years old and incredibly gentle with people.

✨ Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need: air fryer, microwave, oven, Nespresso machine, cast iron cookware and more. Honestly, you could just bring your suitcase.

✨ Large TV in the living room, perfect for movie nights. There is Apple TV and Amazon prime setup

✨ Great location:

* 5 minutes from New Cross and New Cross Gate stations
* Just a few stops from central London
* Plenty of buses, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants nearby (big Sainsbury’s 10mins walk, but also small shop to buy food 2 mins walk)
* TK Maxx and B&M are about a 10-minute walk away
* Lime bikes everywhere

✨ There’s a large park directly opposite the building if you’re into running, walking, or just sitting outside with a coffee.

✨ Yoga studio only 15 minutes away by bus (a personal favourite of mine).

✨ Residents get 10% off at the coffee shop downstairs ☕️

✨ Friendly on-site building management who are genuinely helpful when anything needs fixing.

✨ Free bike storage.

✨ 8th floor apartment with two lifts. Great view of central London from the balcony

💰 Rent: £1,150 per month
💰 Bills: Approximately £150 per person
Flat is available from 1st July

I lived alone for a long time, but these past few months sharing with a friend reminded me how lovely it can be to come home to another friendly face. I’d love to find someone who is respectful, kind, and looking for a home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
