1 Room in Peckham next to Burgess Park

This room is in a rather vertical, big flat - 5 short stories - the room is at the top floor, opposite a door to a big balcony. It has a built-in wardrobe, and a storage cupboard next to the room. There is also a huge shared cupboard room that you can store stuff in.

Size of room: 2.7m x 3.5m

Windows are east facing.

The flat is very warm, housemates are nice, there's no mice. One of the bathrooms has a tiny bit of mould but it's been dealt with by installing ventilation and turning on heating - no mould in the rest of the place.

No living room but a big kitchen, and the balcony in warm weather is kind of a living room.

This is my room, I'm moving out, I've lived here for 6 years and as you can see drawn on the walls but the walls are being repainted white before you move in obviously. Unless you're quick with your referencing and decide you want a different color lol.

My experience is that this place is quiet to live, decent South London skyline from the windows, very nice area.

The rent is cheap because the landlord hasn't raised it yet like the rest of properties in the area so it's in a bit of a time capsule - Peckham is a very upcoming area and I think it's quite rare to find such cheap rent here now.

Structurally the flat is sound. Everywhere has large windows so the place is consistently bright.

Being next to Burgess Park is a huge advantage too.

The current housemates are a very nice bunch, they're very social, and I'm a bit of a hermit, but they give me my space, and are always welcoming if you do want to hang out.

All neighbours are sound.

The estate agents are a bit awkward sometimes (but when aren't they?) but generally quite tolerable and sort stuff out if you ask convincingly enough.

I WFH so I'm always available for viewings.
