Double room available in a lovely 2-bedroom flat in South Bermondsey, from now!

I am looking for someone to take over my room. It’s a spacious, fully furnished double room with a double bed, wardrobe, bedside drawers and desk, and all bills are included.

But what I’ve particularly loved about living here is that it genuinely feels like a home!

🏠 The home

The flat is a roomy 2-bedroom home on the first floor, with a spacious open-plan kitchen/lounge and a shared bathroom. It’s in a quiet residential area, while still being really well connected to the rest of London.

There’s good Wi-Fi and a comfortable shared living space, so it also works well if you sometimes work from home.

👋 Who you'll live with

You’ll be living with Henrietta, the live-in landlord, who works in communications and is usually in the office 2–3 days a week.

She's great! Thoughtful and easy-going, while also being respectful of your space and independence. She’s made an effort to make the flat feel like a home for both of us, which I especially appreciate.

She’s sociable and enjoys music, dancing, gigs, eating out, travelling and getting out and about, but the flat itself is peaceful and relaxed. I’d say it’s a great fit for someone who likes having a friendly person around and the occasional chat, drink or movie, but also values having their own space.

🚌 Easy bus connections to Waterloo, the West End and elsewhere in London

🚇 15 min walk to Surrey Quays Overground

🍻 Easy access to Bermondsey and the famous Bermondsey Beer Mile

🍜 Close to Peckham, with loads of great food, bars, cafés, markets and independent shops

🌆 Canary Wharf, Elephant & Castle and central London are all easy to reach

The area is quiet and residential, but you’re never far from somewhere interesting to go.

- £949/month – ALL bills included (except cleaner, depending on your decision with Henrietta)
- Deposit: £1,095 (includes a £95 holding fee + £1,000 due on move-in day)
- No agency fees
- Parking permit available from the council if needed (£10–30/month, cheaper if paid for longer periods)
