Spacious double room in maisonette in South London

Hi everyone!

Our flatmate will be moving out in the next month and we’re looking for someone to take up her double room in a beautiful 3 bedroom maisonette in West Norwood.

The room is spacious, lovely and comes furnished - there are two bathrooms in the flat, an open plan kitchen and living room and all amenities including wifi, a TV, dishwasher, washing machine, and a garden. Our landlord is also approachable and supportive.

There’s direct buses to central London at the end of the road, as well as West Norwood train station which runs direct to Balham, Clapham junction, London Victoria and London Bridge. Tulse Hill station is a 10-15 minute walk away, and Brixton station is a 15-20 minute bus away. There are lots of local shops and cafes, and nice local parks, including Brockwell park.

You’d be sharing with myself and my best friend - I am a midwife and she is a teacher, so we are often busy and out of the house. We are looking for a non-smoking, considerate and tidy flatmate as we like to keep the flat looking nice.

We very much respect each other’s space but also enjoy socialising, together and separately. We live a relatively quiet life and we enjoy an occasional pub drink but would not be suited to someone looking for a party house.

The rent for this room is currently £700 a month and bills are currently under £150 (council tax, WiFi and utilities).
