I have a double room in a lovely 3-bedroom semi-detached house for rent. The house is located 3 mins walk from Brockley station (Zone 2 South East London) where you have London Overground to Canada Water, Hoxton, Shoreditch etc. The station is also served by Southern train service to London Bridge (10 minute train). From London Bridge, you could get further train to Waterloo, City Thameslink, Cannon street etc..

Overall, from Brockley:
10 minutes to London Bridge
12 minutes to Canary Wharf / Shoreditch / Hoxton
20 minutes to Charing Cross / Waterloo

Alternative station is Nunhead (10-minute walk) which has train to London Victoria (10-minute train).

The N171 night bus service from central London stops a 3 minute walk away from the house.

The area is very quirky with a feel of a village with plenty of parks, small independent shops, coffee houses, local bars and pubs around. It has a vibrant artistic community. People are friendly, unpretentious and loyal. Telegraph Hill is not far away. It is picturesque hilly pretty undiscovered corner of London, with beautiful views of the city and Canary Wharf.

The house is recently refurbished with wooden flooring within common area (kitchen, lounge, and hallway). It has all appliances (cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, toaster, kettle, iron, coffee machine). We share a big lounge (with sofa, coffee table, Freeview TV and DVD player), a dinning area and a conservatory. Free broadband wifi internet is available with unlimited data usage. The house has separate bathroom and toilet on the first floor which is very convenient for a shared house. The house also has a small study room which has a sofa bed for guest if you need. The study room is also for a quiet time to read/study if you need also.

There's on-street parking space available (no restriction, no permit needed).

The room is fully furnished with a bed, chest of drawer, and a wardrobe. Rent includes Council Tax, Freeview TV, TV licence, telephone line, water bills and broadband internet.

Current housemates: 2 guys are working in IT & Finance. Both are friendly, easygoing, laid-back, and very sociable.
