Large double room in quiet house

This is a room in a quiet household with myself and a cat. It is a happy and quiet household, clean and calm. I am politically to the left. I work in the NHS.

The Corbett Estate is a lovely location in Catford/Hither Green borders, with a thriving community and great neighbours. I am situated 15 min walk from Hither Green station and 10-minute bus ride from Catford station (20 min walk). Trains to London Bridge, Charring Cross and Cannon Street from Hither Green (15-20 mins journey) or Catford Bridge to Charing Cross (20 mins). Located near to a thriving local corner store and Corbett Community library.

In the house you have your own large comfy room, you have use of the kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen is large enough to work and chill in as has a sofa. There are 2 loos so no waiting around.
Please note there is no sitting room available to you apart from the Kitchen. If you smoke/ vape that’s ok but outside only.

I have a weekly cleaner who attends all common parts in the house, so you just clean your own room and in kitchen/bathroom after use. No overnight guests allowed, unless by prior negotiation with myself. This can change over time, once you know are comfortable and at home, in agreement with myself.


This house will suit someone who is happy in their own company, my work is intense and demanding which means I like to keep to myself when home. It is important that you love cats and are confident around them.

I’m interested in finding the right person, who is self contained, clean, respectful, and prepared to contribute to maintaining the house when necessary. Ideally I would like the right person to feel at home and happy.
