Double Room in 2 Bed Maisonette SE6

I’m looking for someone to take over my current housemate’s room in our two-bed maisonette in Catford, as she’ll be moving back to university in Bath at the end of our placement.

The flat was newly renovated when we moved in, so everything is still pretty new, and everything you see in the photos stays. There’s a BED (I promise), table and a desk in the room not shown in the photos.

The room is £900 per month, excluding bills (which total £68pp at the moment). The tenancy is handled officially through OpenRent, and the deposit is protected through a deposit protection scheme.

[The area/getting around]

We’re really well connected, with Catford/Catford Bridge, Lewisham, Ladywell and Hither Green all within around 10-15 minutes. From Lewisham, it’s only 9 minutes to London Bridge and you can get the Bakerloop, which is especially convenient for getting home after nights out. The main road also has great bus connections, and there are plenty of grocery shops and takeaways nearby.

[About me]

I’m a student currently finishing my placement year, with two years of university left. I’m clean, friendly and quite social. I love travelling, eating out and having a cosy, welcoming home, but I also really value downtime and a good do-nothing evening.

My hobbies are a bit all over the place! The ones I keep coming back to are photography, hiking and bouldering, but I also occasionally go horse riding and golfing, and I recently completed my first via ferrata. I’m really into creativity and adventuring in general…basically anything for a bit of dopamine😅 At the moment I’m also trying to get into film photography and trad climbing.

I’d love to live with someone who’s friendly and considerate and wants the flat to feel like a home rather than just somewhere we happen to live. It would be nice to hang out, go to the pub or do something together, while still being able to have our own space and downtime.

The household is LGBTQ+ friendly, cats are welcome, and I’m a non-smoker.
