The house is located within 5-minutes of both St. John's Station (direct trains to London Bridge and Cannon Street in under 10mins) and Deptford Bridge DLR station (trains to Canary Wharf under 15mins and to Bank within 25mins). Additionally, it's less than 15mins walk to Brockley, New Cross and New Cross Gate Stations (London Overground line to Canada Water, Shoreditch, Dalston, Highbury, West Croydon, Sutton, Victoria etc). Luckily, Tesco Express is less than 250ft away and a number of other restaurants, bars and pubs are within 0.2 miles! Aside from the property having a garden, there's a beautiful peaceful park within 2 mins walk too. Bus routes within 5 minutes include 21, 136, 321, 436, 47, 225, 53, 177, 453, and 89.

We're also within 5mins walk of the Brockley Farmer's Market which happens every Saturday :)

Room Information

The room available is a large, bright room with a kingsize bed, built-in wardrobes and mirrors, bedside tables/chest of drawers and en-suite too!

What we're looking for in a flatmate:

We're looking for a professional flatmate or mature student who is independent but is also open to hanging out, movie nights, activities together, gigs/shows or having a glass of wine in the evening indoors. We're hoping for someone who is kind, CLEAN, respectful and considerate. It's fair to say that we comfortably strike the balance between fun house-sharing/connectivity and privacy/space too and we're too old to be a party house! We're welcoming and as a house of local and international people, we'd hate anyone to be new to the city and feel lonely.

I'm also open to those looking for a Monday-Friday let because their family home is based outside of London.

Info about me:

A born and bred Londoner (not that it matters) but mention it because it means that I helpfully know my way around town and am happy to share some local hotspots with my housemates.

I'm a happy, relaxed, friendly professional female working in the sports sector having just moved over from financial services. Our home is a happy and relaxed place where we unwind and chill after working hard and we're looking to add a professional to our sanctuary. Given everyone's working hours/ social life, we're not all home every night during the week (except for by virtue of Covid!), but we definitely do dinners, movie nights, Netflix nights as required. Our interests are broad and varied but think everything from yoga to cycling/hiking, travelling to cooking/baking, travelling to fine dining/brunches, all things in the theatre/ show realm, good films, live music and gigs, museums/ art and thought-provoking books.
