The Newark Houseboat

A rare opportunity to join a wonderfully unique floating community on the River Thames aboard The Newark.

After a couple of months away for repairs, cabins are available to rent on a houseboat moored on the south bank of the Thames between Vauxhall and Chelsea bridges. The Newark is a converted Thames lighter barge with a spacious shared living area as well as a large outside deck with great views and established and well cared for plants.

This would suit an independent young professional who would appreciate the charm of living on the river. All bills are included, there is a lovely and welcoming communal lounge and a large sun deck for the flatmates. The to rooms that are left;
The £835 is larger and currently has as single bed but can be changed to a double. Ironically the smaller £725 room has a double bed but less storage and floor space. Current residents include a house cat who lives between the two boats on Tideway Village Moorings. The house boat has three full bathrooms and a cleaner included who visits every week to clean the communal areas.
