Large Double Room - Clapham/Battersea

Hello!

We have a double bedroom in our 4 bedroom house share in Clapham (1 minute from the Common!). Our current flatmate moves out the end of September and is available from September 27th.

The room: A double room in the middle of the house furnished with a comfy bed, two wardrobes and a small console. There is currently a desk and chair in the room which is available to buy if you would like, as well as the two bed side tables. The room is very spacious so it’s great for hybrid working.

The flatmates are Sam (31), Erin (27) and James (26). We're all young professionals working weekday (and some weekend) jobs in/around the City.

We're looking for an individual in their late 20s/early 30s who wants to find somewhere they can find a bit of respite from busy London life. We have a great outdoor patio which is great for debriefs after a long day, occasional outings on weekends, and walks and coffee around the common. We all have our own individual lives, however we enjoy hanging out together as well. We will have friends over from time to time to entertain but not a party house.

Our house is between Clapham Junction station & Clapham Common tube (a 10 minute walk from each) - featuring:

- Basement (no skeletons, promise)
- Garden with bike shed.

The location: We're literally a minute away from Clapham Common, so you can enjoy spending time there having picnics/beers in the summer. Plenty of park-runs if that’s your cup of tea. We're ideally situated for both Battersea and Clapham, a stone’s throw from many of best pubs in London!

We have a fully kitted out kitchen, super fast broadband and a weekly cleaner who cleans all the communal areas. There's also on road parking if you have a car.

The social: The living room is large, receives a lot of natural light, great for relaxing and entertaining guests alike.

The rent: £1,082.50+ about £150 per month for bills (total £1,232.50) - electricity and gas, council tax, internet, all household essentials incl. washing powder, toilet roll and our lovely cleaner! The bills are not fixed, so sometimes we might need to top up the house account over winter, but that's a rare situation. The deposit is £1,000. There are no referencing or agency fees and our private landlord is brilliant.
