I’m looking for a friendly female lodger to join our warm, respectful and harmonious home in beautiful Barnes.

I live here with my adult daughter and we’ve been fortunate to have had lovely long-term lodgers over the years. One stayed with us for three years before moving on to live with friends and begin her PhD journey, and our current lodger has been with us for two years and is now relocating to be closer to family while caring for a loved one. We’ve kept in touch and genuinely enjoyed sharing our home with them, so I’d love to find someone who feels like a good fit for the space.

About the room:

• Fully furnished double bedroom
• King-size bed with storage
• 3-door wardrobe
• Desk and lamp
• Plenty of storage space
• Quiet environment for relaxing, working or studying

About the flat:

• Move-in from 12th July (some flexibility can be discussed).
• Just 7 minutes from Barnes Station – around 20 minutes into Central London
• Free parking available (rare for this area!)
• Close to the river, parks, cafés, pubs and restaurants
• Near Richmond Park for anyone who enjoys nature, walks or cycling
• All bills included

A little about us:

I’m friendly, active and easy-going. Life can be busy but home is somewhere I value as a calm and comfortable space. I’m a keen cyclist and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. We’re sociable people but also appreciate our own space.

What I’m looking for:

• Female professional or student
• Clean, tidy and respectful
• Someone who values a peaceful and considerate home environment
• Happy to help keep shared spaces clean and pleasant for everyone

Friends and partners visiting occasionally is absolutely fine, although this isn’t really a party house.

Extras:

I provide household basics such as toilet roll, kitchen roll, laundry detergent and a few shared kitchen essentials to make life easier.

Viewings:

I prefer in-person viewings because I think meeting face to face gives us both a better feel for whether the home and household are a good fit.
