I have a spacious double room to let from early March on a quiet street in Pimlico less than a minute's walk from the Thames.

The room is the master bedroom on the top floor [no lift] of a terraced house with loads of room for storage. It’s large enough to be used almost as a studio – and I do have a spare TV if you wanted to put one in the room!

There are two bedrooms, one bathroom with a bath/shower, a separate kitchen, and a large, shared living room.

The rent is £1100 per month + bills (water, council tax, broadband & energy), which come to approximately £90 per month.

The flat is in a great location for commuting:

5 minute walk from Pimlico Station [Victoria line]
10 minute walk across the bridge to Vauxhall Station [Victoria line & South Western Railway]
20 minute walk to Westminster
One minute walk to bus stop for 87, 88, C10
Five minute walk to bus stop for 2, 88, 36, 185, 360
Five minute walk to Millenium Pier for boats towards the city

Location

The location is perfect for anyone wanting to make the most of London. It's a quiet neighborhood, with lovely neighbours and lots of great cafes, pubs and restaurants.

You would be less than a five minute walk from Tate Britain, along with the river itself, for anyone who likes to cycle/jog [or just likes to be near water].

About me

I’m a professional woman, who worked in the financial sector for a long time, but I’m now working for an arts college.

I’ve been living in the area for about eleven years. I’ve lived in a few other cities and countries, and I have to say London is my favourite.

I have a lot of interests, from music [singing in a choir], to the arts (galleries and museums), gigs and love going out with friends and enjoying the city but also love quiet nights in with a good film and a glass of wine (+ popcorn!)!!

I would describe myself as a sociable introvert, so I do like to get to know anyone I’m living with and enjoy the occasional dinner/wine night, but I’m also happy in my own company.
