I am looking for a friendly and easy-going new flatmate for a two-bedroom professional flatshare in SW20.
The flat is spacious and has a very homely feel, and you will be sharing with just one professional flatmate. I have been living here for 2 years and have a great relationship with the landlord, who is engaged, diligent, and always quick to act.
My current flatmate, rented the room for 1 year and is relocating to Oxford, so the room is now available. I am seeking a housemate who is sociable, tidy, friendly, and keen to join a relaxed flat share.
The flat was recently refurbished and has a spacious separate lounge area. The living room and kitchen are naturally well-lit. The kitchen is modern, with all fitted appliances. The flat also has a three-piece bathroom. There are no noisy shops or restaurants nearby.
The room for let is furnished, but some items can be removed if you have your own, like the mattress. There is space for a desk if you work from home, and the room includes a closet and a chest of drawers too! There is also space in the living room for books and plants, making it a cozy and inviting area to relax. The internet speed is great, so working from home is sorted! The room is decorated in a modern neutral style and benefits from being at the back of the flat, making it super quiet. The vibe of the place and the size of the room are much better than my photos suggest—I promise there is more space than it looks like!
The flat is located in SW20:
5-minute walk from Raynes Park Station (21 min trains to Waterloo, 9 minutes to Kingston)
15-minute walk from Wimbledon High Street, where you can catch the District Line and trains; it's a 5-minute bus ride
10-minute walk from Wimbledon Chase Station (with trains to the City)
15 minutes from my favourite coffee shops in Wimbledon Village
There are various supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants close by. Wimbledon Village has it all—parks, restaurants, great pubs, whole food shops, and cocktails—the basics for a decent life in this crazy city. My favourite is the little coffee shop selling Argentinean empanadas in Wimbledon Village! I go there every Sunday!
There are great gyms close by, including David Lloyds (with an outdoor heated swimming pool and a fab spa!), Virgin, Nuffield, and Third Space.
A bit about your new flatmate:
I work as a legal professional and love Argentinean empanadas 😊. I am social and enjoy travelling on trains around the world. I love languages—I speak Spanish and am learning Italian.
I rented this flat to escape from overcrowded “co-livings,” big house shares, and living like a student. My idea was to have a place to share with someone else who loves the home sweet home feeling. Before moving here, I viewed many rooms around SW20 and was very disappointed with what was on offer. Many of the pictures did not match the real condition of the rooms—they were old and it felt like living in a hostel with rooms locked and mess everywhere—so I decided to rent a flat and find someone to share it with. I strongly recommend you come and see the room. The location is ideal, just minutes from Wimbledon Chase and Raynes Park Station.
