A spacious furnished room is available in a modern, recently refurbished two-bedroom flat in SW20—shared with just one other professional.
🏠 The Room
The room is decorated in a modern neutral style and is positioned at the back of the flat, making it exceptionally quiet. It comes furnished with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, and there is space for a desk if you work from home. If you have your own furniture or mattress, some items can be removed to suit you.
The photos give you a feel for the room, but the space is genuinely more impressive in person—especially the natural light and how quiet it is at the back of the flat. I'd really encourage you to arrange a viewing.
🛋️ The Flat
One of the best things about this flat is that it has a proper separate lounge—something nearly half of London's flatsharers no longer have. As you can see from the photos, the living room has plenty of space for a sofa, books, and plants—it's a proper shared space to relax in, not just a corridor with a chair. Both the lounge and kitchen benefit from plenty of natural light. The kitchen is modern, fully fitted with appliances, and the flat includes a three-piece bathroom. The internet speed is excellent, so working from home is well covered.
The flat was recently refurbished and is kept in great condition. I have been living here for three years and have built a great relationship with the landlord, who is engaged, diligent, and always quick to act.
📍 The Location
The flat is ideally located in SW20, with fantastic transport links:
Raynes Park Station – 5-minute walk (21 min to Waterloo · 9 min to Kingston)
Wimbledon High Street – 15-minute walk or a 5-minute bus ride (District Line and mainline trains)
Wimbledon Chase Station – 10-minute walk (trains into Central London)
Wimbledon Village – 15 minutes on foot
The area is quiet, with no noisy shops or restaurants on the doorstep, yet everything you need is close by. I've included a couple of photos of the neighbourhood so you can get a sense of the surroundings. Wimbledon Village has it all: parks, wholefood shops, great pubs, cocktail bars, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants—the essentials for a good life in this busy city. There are also excellent gyms nearby, including David Lloyd (outdoor heated pool and spa), Virgin Active, Nuffield Health, and Third Space.
🙋 A Bit About Me
I work as a legal professional and I'm a big fan of Argentinian empanadas—my favourite spot is a little coffee shop in Wimbledon Village that sells them. I go there every Sunday! I'm sociable and enjoy travelling, especially by train. I love languages: I speak Spanish and I'm currently learning Italian.
I chose to rent this flat to leave behind overcrowded house shares and "co-living" setups, and to create a calm, comfortable home to share with one like-minded person. Before moving here, I viewed many rooms across SW20 and was often disappointed—photos rarely matched reality, places felt worn, and the experience was closer to a hostel than a home. That is not the case here. I took care to find a flat that genuinely feels like home, and I think you will notice the difference the moment you walk in.
🔎 What I'm Looking For
I'm looking for someone friendly, sociable, tidy, and keen to be part of a relaxed, professional flatshare. My current flatmate has been here for a year and is relocating closer to her office, so the room is now available.
I really encourage you to come and see the place in person—the location is excellent, just minutes from Wimbledon Chase and Raynes Park. If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to get in touch.
Good luck with your search!
