Double Room with Private Balcony in Maida Vale

Beautiful double room available in Rodney Court, a lovely red-brick mansion block in Maida Vale / Little Venice, W9.

The room is spacious, bright and comfortable, and comes with its own private balcony with a beautiful view. More photos of the room and balcony will be added shortly.

The building has a lift and is very conveniently located, with Warwick Avenue station around a 5–10 minute walk away, as well as easy access to Maida Vale, Clifton Road and the many shops, cafés and amenities in the area.

We are looking for the right person rather than simply filling the room as quickly as possible. Ideally, you would be a working professional, quiet, clean and respectful, and looking for a longer-term home — ideally around 12 months.

One important point is the kitchen. It is quite small and not particularly suitable for frequent or elaborate cooking, and the sink can occasionally be temperamental. For this reason, we are specifically looking for someone who cooks very little and is happy with light/simple kitchen use.

The current household consists of a young professional chef working in Mayfair, plus a married professional couple. Two of the flatmates are generally out working during the day, while one often works from home.

The atmosphere in the flat is friendly, calm and quiet. It is definitely not a party house, and we are looking for someone independent and considerate with a similar lifestyle — ideally someone who is busy with work during the day and appreciates having a peaceful home to come back to.

A female housemate would be preferred, as this would create a nice balance within the household.
