We are a gay male couple, aged 43 and 75.
We are looking for a short term lodger to share our home with. The lodger will have exclusive use of a double bedroom.
The shared rooms include: the living room, balcony, bathroom and toilet and kitchen.
All utilities are included in the rent, including water, electricity, heating and broadband internet. In addition to the rent, we seek £200 from the lodger per month as a contribution towards Council Tax.
We are quiet and respectful people. And we're clean and tidy. We'll get along best with people who are similar to us in those ways.
Unfortunately, the entire residential block will be closed from Oct, Nov or Dec 2026. This is because safety works need to bee done. We will be told 2 months before we need to move out. That's why we are looking for a short-term lodger only.
Our previous lodgers have stayed for a long time, including 7 years and 2 years. Therefore, we believe we are easy to get along with.
