Room in Clapton

Hello I’m Bliss and I live with my boyfriend Curtis in Lower Clapton. Our current housemate is moving in with his girlfriend, so we have a room available and we’re looking for someone to join us on a longer-term basis.

About the house 🌟

We live in a three-storey house on Rushmore Road, just off Powerscroft Road. There’s a cosy, open-plan kitchen and living area, a separate study and a small back garden.

Your room 🏡

The room is a good-sized double on the middle floor, with a large window overlooking Powerscroft Road and a small walk-in wardrobe area. It comes with a double bed, small desk, mirror, under-bed storage, clothes rack and a large TV if you’d like to use it!

The bathroom is on the same floor and would mostly be yours, as we have our own upstairs, although we’d occasionally use it.

About us & what we’re looking for 🌞

I’m 28 and work as a freelance artist and art teacher. Curtis is 29, works in marketing for a sportswear brand and is also a musician.

We’re friendly, sociable and laid-back, and would love to find someone who’d feel at home and join us for the occasional pint! We like keeping the house neat and tidy, so we’re looking for someone considerate who does too.

The area 📍

We’re close to Chatsworth Road and Millfields Park, with lots of cafés, pubs and restaurants nearby, and around a 15-minute walk from Hackney Central.

Rent 💷

£900 per month, plus £140 for bills- £1,040 altogether.
