A lovely, spacious double room with a private ensuite available in a beautiful 5-bedroom house, tucked away on a quiet side street just off the vibrant Chatsworth Road in Hackney.
The Room
The room is a great size, with plenty of storage, including a divan bed with additional storage underneath.
One of its biggest perks is how peaceful it is. Located at the back of the house in the extension, there's no one living directly above or below you, and only one wall shared with the neighbouring property. Perfect if you value a bit of peace and quiet while still being right in the heart of East London.
The House
The house is spread across three floors and has everything you'd need to feel at home:
- Comfortable communal living space
- Large, spacious and fully equipped kitchen
- Washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher
- Lovely, generously sized back garden, perfect for warmer days
- Plenty of space to securely store a bike
The property is managed by a private landlord who's friendly, approachable and always quick to respond if anything needs sorting.
The Location
The location is genuinely one of the best things about living here. You're tucked away on a quiet residential street but have some of East London's best spots right on your doorstep.
- Chatsworth Road: Just around the corner, with its brilliant selection of independent cafés, restaurants, pubs and bars, plus the lively Sunday market.
- Green spaces: Less than a 30-second walk from Millfields Park and Hackney Marshes, ideal for running, cycling, walking or just enjoying some fresh air.
- Transport: Conveniently located between three Overground stations, giving you plenty of options for getting around London.
- Buses: The 242 stops practically outside the house, taking you towards Dalston and Shoreditch. Several other routes are within a 2–5 minute walk, including the 56, 38, 106, 254, 253, 308 and 425.
You really get the best of both worlds: a peaceful home with all the energy, food, nightlife and green spaces that make East London such a great place to live.
The Housemates
You'll be sharing with five lovely housemates: Shane and Aoife (an Irish couple), Becky (Maltese), Joanna (Portuguese) and Evie (English).
Everyone is friendly, considerate and easy-going. We all have our own busy lives and social circles, so the house is generally pretty calm and quiet. That said, we're always up for the occasional trip to the pub or a drink and catch-up at home.
It's a really nice balance of having your own space while living with people you genuinely get along with.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone tidy, considerate and easy-going who'll fit into the relaxed atmosphere of the house. Someone who's happy doing their own thing but equally enjoys the occasional social get-together. Move in date can be flexible. I've already paid rent for the month but already have my next place available so would ideally like someone to move in within the month and pay me what's left of the month. Otherwise, 1st Dec can be the move in date too. Viewings from the 7th of Nov.
If you're looking for a spacious, peaceful home with great housemates and everything East London has to offer on your doorstep, this could be the perfect spot!
Drop me a message with a little bit about yourself if you're interested, and I will share your profile with the rest of the house and then we can organise viewings.
