A spacious, light-filled double room in a Victorian house, with a bay window, your own corner sofa, a desk for working from home and a wood-burning stove.

You’ll usually be sharing the house with just one other person: our lovely housemate, who is welcoming, tidy and organised. I live away from London with my partner and only stay at the house a few days each month.

The room gives you space to sleep, work and relax without having to sit on your bed. There’s also a large shared living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a sunny garden, so you have plenty of space beyond your room.

The house has high ceilings, wooden floors and period features, with two bathrooms. It’s fully furnished and ready to move into.

We’re in a tree-lined conservation area, with local pubs and the wide-open spaces of Wanstead Flats nearby. Transport connections are excellent:

• Four minutes’ walk to Manor Park station for the Elizabeth line, with Liverpool Street around 15 minutes away.
• Two minutes’ walk to Woodgrange Park station for the Suffragette line towards Walthamstow.
• Regular buses and on-street parking nearby.

We’d love to find someone who enjoys a quiet, friendly, considerate home and helps keep shared spaces clean and tidy. As the room is already fully furnished, it would best suit someone who doesn’t need to bring large furniture.
