Newham is a vibrant area with many shops, eateries, markets, gyms, libraries and parks. Stratford, seven minutes away by train, boasts the Olympic Park and Westfield shopping centre. Wanstead Flats,, a vast open area of grassland, woodland and lakes, starts from outside Manor Park station.

This accommodation would suit someone who appreciates a tranquil, well-maintained and comfortable home environment. Previous lodgers have said that it's a pleasure to return to at the end of a day's work.

Landlady is calm, friendly and straightforward, with many interests and a lively sense of humour. This is a Catholic household but women of any culture, language or religion (or none) are very welcome to show interest.

Unsuitable for anyone hoping to bring their own furniture or a lot of kitchen items. The kitchen is equipped with the usual appliances, crockery, pans etc, which are shared as needed.
