We’re looking for someone to join our lefty queer home in Bow from 4 December 🏡

We are right next to Mile End Park, 5 minutes from Mile End tube, Roman Road, and 10 minutes from Vicky Park

Room is a fully furnished double, north-west facing towards railway, rent is £927 pcm incl council tax and bills ~£80 pcm

We have 2 bathrooms, a lovely garden, shared living room, kitchen and cellar! It's a 2 storey Victorian terraced house, 3 steps to the front door, and a flight of stairs to the bedroom on the 1st floor

We have a friendly communal ethos to living together, we’re each in and out the house throughout the week, like to have friends over, catch-up and share meals when we’re in

We are in our early to mid 30s:

Fraser (they/them) - organiser for performing arts trade union and trying to do a phd, can be found in the park, at lefty queer events, parties, exercise groups, or making vegan meals

Alva (she/her) - author and renters union organiser, often growing new things in the garden, researching, and concocting something out of our Odd Box, owner of Pixie (18, cat) and responsible for all the nicest crockery

Katie (she/her) - horticulturalist and avid film goer, has been in the house for the longest, constructed some of it and is the keeper of the beautiful tropical plants in the living room

Kade (they/he) - house comedian, jester and footballer, inspired by their time in the house to retire from publishing and travel to the other side of the globe (whose room you’d be taking)

Looking for someone who wants to make the house a home with us, ideally likes vegan food, is queer and/or a woman and shares our values - trans liberation, free Palestine, no war but class war x
