I am offering a large, furnished double room in my well-maintained home in Mile End (E3 4JH). I am a 59-year-old professional and frequent traveller, so the house is often peaceful and quiet. I am looking for a mature, independent individual who values their own space and respects a clean, tidy environment.

The Room & Property

The Room: A spacious, bright double room with plenty of floor space.

The House: A comfortable, relaxed home. I have a professional cleaner who visits weekly to manage all communal areas, and I expect the house to be kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

This is not a social or party house. I am rarely at home, and I am looking for a housemate who is equally independent. Please note that the single room in the house is occupied occasionally by Airbnb guests.

The Arrangement & Rent

Initial Month (20 September – 20 October): The rent is £500. During this period, I will be away in Orlando, and you will be responsible for the daily care of my standard poodle, Coco.

Ongoing Rate: Following this month, the rent reverts to £900 per calendar month.

You are a mature, responsible, and independent person.

Dog Owner: You must have a dog of your own. This ensures you are already committed to a daily walking routine and fully understand the realities of pet care. Coco is well-socialised and happy to live with other dogs.

Reliability: You are clean, tidy, and respectful of communal spaces.

Lifestyle: You are looking for a place to live rather than a social hub. You are comfortable with the house being a shared environment, including the occasional presence of Airbnb guests in the second room.
