Safe, welcoming, peaceful home Highgate woods/tb

We're offering a friendly, calming home with a beautiful spacious room on a very quiet road with direct access to Queenswoods, where friendliness and kindness are greatly valued. We're looking for a calm, warm hearted female who also loves animals as there is a small sweet dog who lives here . 



The room itself is spacious with patio doors onto a wide garden. The garden is a great source of joy and relaxation which is open to you to enjoy whenever you wish. Fully furnished with a double wardrobe; chest of drawers; shelved cabinet, table and chairs. Shared bathroom (bath and shower) and ground floor cloakroom. Front sitting room usually available after 7:45pm.


If you love nature, you can enter Queen's woods directly from our road, a one-minute walk from the house which is also a short cut to Highgate tube.

It’s a 20 mins to central London from highgate tube and 15 min walk or 3 min bus ride (43 and 134) from top of the road to Highgate Tube or Muswell hill Broadway and 3 mins bus ride (W7) to Crouch End village. Both areas offer a wide range of facilities e. g. fitness/pool/leisure clubs, cinemas, bookshops, shops, restaurants/cafes, Whittington hospital etc. (Our local Everyman won the National Award for the best/most welcoming cinema). There’s also a Sainsbury's Local, 6 min walk from Highgate Tube and a range of shops/restaurants etc on Archway road. 



I'm British-Australian, former hospital spiritual care-giver and film-maker/arts writer (also vegan/buddhist/taiji practioner) . My daughter, Rosie,(28), a warm-hearted and friendly person (and a vet) lives here too. 

We both love art, museums, cinema, theatre, reading, painting, walking in nature, animals, meditation, Taijiquan, swimming. I also love flowers, gardening and badminton.

Apologies but we do not have capacity to accommodate friends/family, couples or further furniture.

 Working from a workplace would be great to maintain a homely/relaxed feel hybrid arrangements too.
