Lovely room free in New Cross Deptford

Living room

One double room is available in our house from September for a minimum of 1 year. Our great flatmate Alice is moving back to Scotland to pursue an apprenticeship!

The room:

The double room is bright with big windows and is large enough to easily fit a double bed, a desk, a big chest of drawers, an armchair, etc. It comes partially furnished. Alice is thinking of leaving some furniture as she's moving out in Scotland. It can be arranged with her! The rent would be £850 + bills.

Bills come to about £100 each month, including council tax.

The house:

The house is in a quiet and cute estate facing Fordham Park. We are 7 min walk from both New Cross Gate and New Cross stations, and have very easy access to Goldsmiths University, New Cross Road, with all the shops and pubs. We are 15 min walk from Deptford with the market, restaurants, and high street. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a garden.

Us:

We are a household of 4 flatmates (1 of the rooms is shared by a couple), so 3 of us + 1 new housemate.

Mehdi and Anouk are 33 and are from Montreal, Canada. We love to cook, discover restaurants around the city, and go on hiking trips, short or long. Mehdi is a data engineer at Imperial University working with educational data, and Anouk is a visual artist making films and performances. Marta is a 33 yo architect and researcher from Italy. She loves cooking, playing sports, chill pub nights, cycling around exploring the city, and is always up for spontaneous trips, near or far.

We are a friendly household that likes to do things together, and of course we respect everyone’s space! We enjoy cooking for each other, sharing an occasional meal, going on hikes together, attending art/music events, etc.
