Quiet, fully furnished garden-facing double bedroom in a 2-bed Victorian terrace on quiet residential street in Stratford, E15 - perfect for a student or a professional, only 7 min from Stratford station. 20min to Central London via Central Line, Jubilee Line, Elizabeth Line, and about 7-10 min to Canary Wharf via DLR.

Large shared kitchen with a gas stove and electric oven, KitchenAid mixer, Nespresso machine. One shared bathroom with a bathtub, and a brand new, 9kg capacity washing machine.

There is a large garden with the hammock to relax in on the days off, and a shed with some tools for a spot of DIY or Art if you’re creative and need some space to practice your craft.

The room comes fully furnished, and all bills are included. It has been recently renovated and both bed and the mattress are brand new (the bed is a small double).

Only one live-in flatmate and a friendly senior rescue dog living on the property - he is old and might sometimes suffer from issues linked to an old age. He sleeps most days and may be found in various places in common areas - someone patient who genuinely likes dogs would be preferable.

I work from home most days and have my office set up in a living room downstairs, so there isn’t much room to socialize there but happy for you to use it in the evenings or days off if you like it.

The contract will be a 6 month lodger agreement initially to assess compatibility - there will be an opportunity to discuss other options if needed.

Due to the bad past experiences, two character references will be required - one of which must be the current landlord.
