Cozy room in East London

Hi!

I am subletting my room in E151RG from 10 November to 29 December because I will be visiting my friends and family in my home country. I am preferably looking for someone who would want to stay for the entire period, but I definitely have flexibility around the exact dates.
I am only subletting to women, or non-binary, trans & afab people, no couples.

The house:
The room I am subletting is in a big house in E151RG, it has 5 bedrooms in total, 4 on the first floor, one on the ground floor. It has 2 full bathrooms, one spacious living room and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen as well as a laundry room.
The house also comes with a large garden with a fire pit and a hammock. We frequently have friendly cats visiting our garden, if you want to get some cuddles. We have wifi and heating.

The bedroom:
My room is fully furnished with a double bed, desk + chair, wardrobe and a mirror. My room is quiet as it is furthest away from any hallway traffic, and it is generally a quite calm house, especially upstairs where there are only bedrooms, as people are up and about most of the time. I will make some space in my wardrobe and shelves for you to store clothing. I have a radiator and plenty of books for you to read.

Location:
10 minutes walk to the Elizabeth Line (Maryland or Forest Gate), 15-20 minutes walk to Stratford Station. Busses within 5 minutes walking distance.
The house is located in a quiet residential street. A corner store is 1 minute away across the street, a Tesco at 7 minute walking distance. There are plenty of cosy coffee shops and a cute bakery in the area as well.

Kitchen:
The kitchen has a dishwasher, two fridges, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, kettle, French press, toaster, microwave, stove, pots, pans etc., all of which you can use. Everyone has their own big cupboard in the kitchen, you will also be able to use a shelf for yourself. We have a communal spice rack in the kitchen which you can make use of, so you don't have to worry about those staple items.

Living Room:
Piano (only ever played with headphones if other people are in the house), big dinner table with 6 chairs, 2 couches, beamer to stream movies, large board and card game selection.

Bathrooms:
One bathroom is upstairs, it has a bathtub, sink and toilet. The second one is downstairs with a shower, toilet, sink and storage cupboard.

About me and your future roommates:
We are a household consisting of 3 women and 2 non-binary people, 4 of us are queer. We met at acting school three years ago and have lived in this house together for two years now. It is a very creative household, acting alone doesn’t pay all bills yet, so we have various other jobs as well (in the pub and coffee shop, as a paint and sip instructor, journalism and research). My friends are lovely, talented people and good roommates. We have a cleaning schedule to keep the big house tidy and we try to keep silent between 10pm and 10am. We enjoy movie and game nights together (we have an assortment of card and board games), grilling in the garden and go do some cute stuff in the city together when we have the time. We also have two pubs nearby where we often get a little discount because two of us work there.

Everyone is quite busy with work and projects atm and since we have such different schedules, the house is often empty but then occasionally we have little spontaneous catch ups in the kitchen or living room.

Ideal roommate:
Ideally you would be a creative/an artist as well, but of course open to students or professionals from all walks of life. We are looking for a woman, non-binary, trans or afab person to sublet my room to. It is a queer household, so we are really only looking for other queer people or allies, no cis-gender man, sorry! My housemates are happy to invite you along to events and include you, but absolutely no pressure if you'd rather want to be on your own for the time you'll rent our place. They are very open and chill people, all good!
