HELLOOO! We have a large double room with garden access available in our 3 bedroom flat in Vauxhall. Move in date 1st Oct!

It's 2 min walk from Nine Elms station (Northern Line), 8 min walk from Vauxhall station (Viccy line and rail). The room is £993 per month, excluding council tax, gas and electric which comes to a max £100 per month together.

We're looking for a female between 25-32 ish to live with us

The room is a really good size and has direct access to the garden. The garden is shared between the three of us, although obviously we’re respectful of privacy and would give a heads up before going through if someone is in the room, unless we’ve agreed otherwise.

The flat has a separate bathroom and toilet, which is ideal for 3 people, and an open plan kitchen/living room.

A bit about us:

You’d be living with me (Thorey) and Elise.

I’m Icelandic but have lived in London for the last 8 years and work full time as a Business Development Manager for a chain of karaoke bars, so if you like karaoke I can defo hook you up👽 I’m a huge Arsenal fan, like going to the gym and, somewhat embarrassingly, play a lot of Fortnite in the evenings after my 16 year old nephew got me hooked. I can usually be found with a White Claw or Diet Coke in hand.

Elise is 26 and from Scotland. She’s a store manager so works fairly random hours and days. She likes pints, tea, Quorn nuggets, pubs, clothes, pole fitness and SCOTLAND (my description of her, hope she approves!).

We’re both pretty independent. We sometimes hang out, have a drink or do something together, but we also have our own lives and are definitely not the kind of flatmates who need to do everything together. We’re both pretty busy with work, so sometimes we’re around loads and sometimes we barely see each other.

We’re looking for someone who works full time, is super clean and tidy and is respectful of the flat and shared spaces. Not huge fans of boyfriends living with us half the time as it doesn't work for our lifestyle but obviously welcome once in a while! It would be nice if you’re up for a little kitchen chat, going for a drink or doing something together every now and then, but equally happy doing your own thing. We’re both vegetarian too, so bonus points if you are!

The boring but good stuff:

I’ve lived in the flat for 5 years and Elise for 3 years, so we’re both very settled here. Our landlady is also Icelandic and is a private landlady rather than an agency. She and her husband are genuinely lovely and have always been really good to us. Whenever something needs fixing, they’re really quick to sort it.

There’s also no deposit, as there’s a lot of trust between us and our landlady, which is obviously a pretty nice bonus.

The photos of the room aren’t completely up to date and some of the furniture of the bedroom has changed, and there’s no longer a desk in the bedroom. The room comes with a bed, nightstand, wardrobe and bookshelf. The flat also doesn’t photograph particularly well, so we’d definitely recommend coming to see it in person. We’d love to have you round for a viewing and for you to get a feel for the room, the flat and whether we’d all get along as that’s most important to us!
