Plenty of storage including under the bed. The bedroom is on the first floor. It's next to the bathroom to be shared between the 2 lodgers. Bath, shower, toilet and sink. Luxurious and very chic, high-end. It looks like a fancy hotel bathroom.

The room is equipped with its private internet plug so you could plug in a TV and your laptop for even faster internet than via WiFi.

The house is a linked terrace house. It has a very large double lounge and a live-in south-facing bright kitchen with a massive island and bar stools, range cooker, American fridge freezer, dishwasher, high ceilings, 3 sky lights, large crittle style glass patio doors opening onto the south facing garden with large patio and side access, which is really practical if you have a bike (which can be stored in the shed). There is a large dining table and 6 chairs too and plenty of storage for your food.

I sleep and work on the 2nd floor and there is a 2nd bathroom for me and my son too.
My son's bedroom is on the 1st floor but at the front of the property next to the other lodger's bedroom.
There is a downstairs toilet too and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer.

The street is very tranquil. You can park for free 3 min walk from the house in a neighbouring street. Otherwise, you need to buy a resident 's permit. Access to the North Circular is 5 minutes drive away.

Easy access to buses from property. Bus stops 2 min walk away on Finchley high road or Woodhouse road. Really convenient.

The nearest tube station is Woodside park on the northern line. It's about a 10 min brisk walk away. It's an easy 20-minute Tube journey from Woodside Park or West Finchley to central London.

Finchley high road is 30s walk away. There are many supermarkets, shops, gyms, barbers/hairdressers, cafés, pubs/bars, restaurants offering cuisine from all over the world, banks, a post office and all the local amenities you'd ever want. All a very short walk away. About 10 min walk or a short bus ride away, there is great north leisure park: a Vue cinema, bowling, lido pool and sports center. There are several yoga studios less than 5 min walk away, as well as a Pure Gym.

The nearest park is Friary park about 10 min walk away. Free bookable tennis courts available there and a cafe. Lots of other local nature hotspots like Victoria park off Finchley high road, Dollis Valley green walk, or the open green areas in Whetstone.

I'm in my early 50s (but people tell me I look younger), I'm female and French. I’ve been in London for 30 years. I’m a lecturer working full time. I enjoy going out with my friends (especially salsa dancing), travelling, hiking, watching films and exercising as well as relaxing at home.

I have a 14 year old son. We're busy in the week with school and work. I mainly work from home. My son comes back home about 3.30pm. We often go on outings on weekends. Previous lodgers have loved living with us and have appreciated the homely feel. Some lodgers have stayed for several years and we are still friends.

The other lodger, Gabrielle, is English, 45. She's been living with us for 3 years. She is lovely and very considerate.

The house is a family home. It's quiet, definitely not a party house. But it's very homely and we are really welcoming and interested in getting to know you. At the same time, don't worry, we're busy too and we understand people value their own space.
The house is very clean. We have a cleaning lady coming every week. There is an extra £50 per month towards the cost.

I am looking to rent to someone aged between 20 and 45 (age is just a number, isn't it. Maturity is more important). Non-smokers only please. Someone who preferably works full time (or is a full time student) but not always from home. Someone friendly, easygoing, considerate and tidy/clean. I welcome all nationalities. Someone looking for a quality spacious home with friendly housemates. Ideally, someone looking for long term accommodation.
