Hi,

I’m Soizic and I'm renting out a double bedroom in my home in Norwood Junction. Available from 30th August 2026. Our current tenant is leaving so we are looking for someone to move into her room.

BEDROOM
Your bedroom looks out to the garden at the back from the bathroom window and the bedroom has a Velux and a window to the side of the house.
The room is bright and airy located on the second floor of the house with a double bed, a chest of drawers, clothes railing, desk and shelves & chair with an ensuite bathroom. You don't need to bring anything with you as we can provide bedding and towels if needed.

GARDEN
Generous Garden with decking and garden furniture
There is no smoking in the house, but outside is ok

THE RENT
Included: Council tax, utility bills (gas/ electricity/ water) and wireless broadband
1 month rent of £750 when you move in and a £500 security deposit
References/proof of study required. The room is for students only and a minimum of 8 months and a maximum 9 months and it is not available for couples.

TRANSPORTATION
A short walk to Norwood Junction (7 minutes) which covers travel to London stations (London Bridge – 12 mins, Victoria – 30 mins, St Pancras/Kings Cross – 27 mins) and Gatwick airport – 25 mins and further North and South with Thameslink trains. Norwood Junction also offers the Overground to East London and Goldsmith University (17 minutes). A choice of 2 Tram stops is within 12 mins walk. Transport options are superb and a leisure centre with pool and gym is at the end of the road. Aldi, Tesco Express & Sainsbury’s are minutes away. Central Croydon is just one stop away with its vast shopping and entertainment facilities as well as fast access to Gatwick & Brighton.
The house is 10 minutes’ walk to the South Norwood country park, with a lake and a park run every Saturday.

ABOUT US
We are live-in landlords, young at heart, independent, clean and tidy and we are looking for someone similar that will respect the house. We occasionally have friends around for dinner but do most of our socializing away from home. We work from home two to three times a week. We have two sons (25 and 23) who moved back home from university. English and French are spoken in the house as I am French.
We have a well-behaved, loving cat who loves cuddles and sleeping on a bed so you would need to be fond of cats.
We are looking for a friendly individual who is clean, cheerful and respectful.
