Hi, I'm James — a live-in owner working in music and events. I'm fairly outdoorsy and often away for work or short trips, so the flat is generally calm, tidy and low-key. (And no, that's not my dog in the photo 🐶)
The flat is a recently refurbished Victorian conversion on a quiet residential street. It's bright, comfortable and feels like a proper home rather than a busy houseshare.
🏡 THE ROOM
📅 Available from: 16 November 2026
💷 £950 pcm — all bills included
🗓️ Preferred minimum stay: 6 months
A lovely, spacious and bright double room with its own lounge and dining areas. It's almost like having your own little studio, with plenty of space to relax and unwind.
The room includes:
- Comfortable three-seater sofa
- Smart TV with soundbar
- Dining table with bench seating and chairs
- Double bed and wardrobe
- Plenty of space to make it your own
It's a great setup for someone who wants a comfortable, private space to come home to after a busy day.
👋 WHO I'M LOOKING FOR
Ideally someone who works outside the home five days a week, rather than working remotely or on a hybrid schedule.
The flat works best with people who have a regular routine outside the home and enjoy having a peaceful, comfortable base to return to.
I'm also looking for someone who:
- Plans to stay at least six months, ideally longer
- Has an established work routine and a manageable commute
- Is clean, considerate and respectful of shared spaces
- Enjoys independent living and values their own space
We're friendly and easy-going, but everyone generally gets on with their own thing, which has worked really well.
🧺 THE FLAT
- Recently refurbished Victorian conversion
- Fully equipped kitchen (washer/dryer, oven, air fryer)
- Clean bathroom with strong shower and bath
- Fast 1GB fibre broadband
- Monthly cleaner
There isn't a separate communal lounge, as the bedrooms are set up to provide more independent living spaces.
📍 LOCATION
Eldon Park, SE25 — quiet residential street
- 5–7 minutes' walk to Norwood Junction
- Around 10 minutes to London Bridge
- Around 20 minutes to Victoria
- Shops, cafés, gyms and parks nearby
🌿 THE VIBE
This is a relaxed, respectful home — not a party flat.
It's more of an independent setup than a highly social houseshare. We're always happy to have a chat, but everyone has their own routine and respects each other's privacy.
The idea is simple: a lovely, peaceful place to come home to, relax and recharge.
🗓️ THE ARRANGEMENT
Ideally looking for someone planning to stay at least six months, preferably longer, rather than someone looking for a short-term stopgap.
The room is offered on a monthly rolling lodger agreement, with one month's notice from either side.
📩 INTERESTED? PLEASE READ BEFORE MESSAGING 😊
To save us both a bit of back-and-forth, please include the following in your first message:
1. A little about yourself — what you do and what you're looking for in a home.
2. Your work routine — where you work and whether you're normally out at work five days a week.
3. Your commute — where you'd be travelling to for work.
4. Your move-in date — when you'd ideally like to move.
5. Your plans — roughly how long you're hoping to stay (ideally six months or longer).
Nothing too formal, just a quick introduction so we can see whether it's a good fit before arranging a viewing.
Thanks, and look forward to hearing from you! 👍
