Spacious double room in beautiful Nunhead

Our housemate is leaving to move in with her partner and we are looking for a new housemate to replace her.

We are two friends looking for a female housemate who is friendly and approachable.
We are looking for someone who is not just looking for a room but rather a home that they will respect and look after.
We currently have a weekly cleaning rota and we are keen to keep it that way.

A bit about us:

Sena is a 32-year-old human rights campaigner. I work from home most of the time but my office is in the loft in my bedroom. I also occasionally go to the office and I'm currently trying to increase my office days.
Outside of work, you can often find me at a gig or a dance or singing class. I also play guitar and generally love music.
I enjoy a good chat and netflix in the evening with my housemates but I also respect everyone's personal lives.

Marine is a 28-year-old events officer who also mostly works from home and will occasionally work weekends and evenings around the busier times such as spring and summer.
When I'm not working, I'm usually outdoors trying new activities but I also enjoy some down time at home. I love music and often have some playing in the background in my bedroom. I also respect everyone's personal lives and privacy.

Arancina (Ari) is our gorgeous resident cat. She is 4 years old and very well behaved. She is often out in the garden during the day or chilling in the house. As she is Marine’s cat, she takes care of her and Sena chips in when necessary but we wouldn’t expect our new housemate to do any of the cat related chores. Ari is very cuddly once she gets to know you and she spends a great deal of her time in Marine or Sena’s room purring and asking for chin scratches.
Even though we wouldn’t ask you to look after her, it is very important that you like cats as she is a part of the household.
Unfortunately Ari is an anxious kitty and would not be able to live with another pet so we won’t be able to accept someone with a pet at this time.

As we are in our late 20s/30s now the house is not a party house but rather a comfy sanctuary where we like to rest and occasionally welcome friends for dinner or quiet drinks and board games.

The bedroom:

The room is available from early August onwards. We can be flexible with move-in dates if you would like to move in earlier or later.

The room is stylish and bright on the first floor of a lovely three storey house. The room shares a big bathroom and a shared study room with Marine’s bedroom on the first floor.

The bedroom has a lovely view of the back garden of the house and comes with a bed and built-in wardrobe. We can leave the small desk there if you want it. The house is extremely spacious with lots of storage space and two large reception rooms and a WC on the ground floor, a cosy and homely feeling and a beautiful well-kept garden.

Location:
Within a short walking distance from Peckham Rye Overground station and Nunhead railway station and great links to Victoria, London Bridge, Canada water, Elephant and Castle, and Blackfriars station. There are also good bus links in the area including a 24 hour bus service.
Nunhead is a safe residential area which is also very close to vibrant Peckham Rye.

The bills are all included in the price - these can fluctuate very rarely depending on energy prices.

Sena’s room and bathroom are in the loft so you will share the bathroom with only Marine.
