We have a lovely room available in our home, just a 5 to 10 minute walk from both Queens Road Peckham and Peckham Rye stations.

The room is a cosy small double that is furnished with a queen-size bed, chest of draws and hanger. It's on its own level of the house, sharing the floor only with the home office, giving it a nice sense of privacy. You would share the main bathroom with just one other housemate.

The house itself is a spacious three-bedroom property with 2.5 bathrooms, a shared kitchen/dining area, lounge, and a west-facing garden that's perfect for catching the afternoon and evening sun. There's also a separate office that you're very welcome to use.

You'll also be sharing the house, indirectly at least, with Luther, our cat. He mostly spends his days lounging in the garden and only tends to come indoors when it's raining, or when it's time for food and a nap! 🐱.

A bit about the household: my husband and I own the property. He is currently working in New York until the end of August 2027, and I'll be joining him there from December this year. As a result, we won't be around much between December 2026 and October 2027, although one or both of us will likely be back in London occasionally for work and family visits. Our good friend also lives in the property and will be looking after Luther while we're away.

The atmosphere at home is relaxed and friendly. We all tend to get on with our own lives, but occasionally enjoy a trip to the pub, having friends over for dinner, or sharing a meal together at home.

We're looking for someone who is respectful of their home, easy-going, and happy living with a cat. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
