Cosy double-bedroom 5 minute 🚌 Elephant&Castle

Hello there!

I’m moving out of this lovely room in a welcoming house where I’ve really enjoyed living with four other housemates.

The room is £760 (including bills, WiFi, council tax). Available from 27th July. This would be for a long-term tenancy.

Practicalities first!

Located just off Old Kent Road, the house is a 5-minute bus ride (or a 15-minute walk) from Elephant & Castle Station (Northern, Bakerloo, and National Rail). It’s also a 10-minute bus ride from London Bridge (or a 25-minute walk if you're keen to get your steps in like me!), giving you easy access to the Jubilee and Northern lines. Peckham Rye is just a 10-minute bus ride away too, or you can enjoy a 25-minute scenic walk through Burgess Park and onto Surrey Canal Path – the highlight of my week when I go swimming!

Food shopping is never a faff, as the house is just 1 minute from a huge Tesco and a 5-minute walk from Lidl.

The room 🏠

The room is situated next to the shared bathroom on the second (top) floor. It comes furnished with a bed, bedside table, and a spacious built-in wardrobe. There’s also a nice corner that comfortably fits a small desk and chair without taking up too much space. The layout makes really good use of the space, so even though it’s a cosy room, it never feels cramped.

The house mates 🌟

We're all professionals in a range of careers: chef, project manager, communications assistant, graphic designer, tech. Some of us know each other from university, while others have met through being housemates and we've all got to know each other well. They're social and easy-going whilst also respectful of everyone's personal time and schedules.
