Double bedroom in beautiful house near oval tube

We have 1 double room for single occupancy available for single occupancy from 11th December £975 per calendar month all inclusive (no extra bills on top). It’s is furnished with desk and plenty of storage space. With 3 lovely flat mates.

Also includes a cleaner for communal areas weekly

The rent includes all bills, super fast fibre optic internet. There is sheltered and secure parking for bicycles out the front, and a lovely mature garden with fruit trees and space for summery parties when the weather is nice!

The house is beautifully decorated and fully furnished in Oval, central London (border of zone 1&2). We are just 400 metres from Oval tube station (northern line), 10 min walk to Vauxhall Station (Victoria line), 5 mins on bus / bike to vibrant Brixton, and right by Kennington Park. The location is also amazingly quiet, being set back in a leafy cul-de-sac.

The house is divided over 3 floors, and the room available for rent is on the top floor. There is a beautiful bathroom with roll top bath and shower on the top floor as well, and a modern shower on the ground floor.

There is a kitchen and conservatory lounge (and garden in the summer), where there is a table that can open out to seat 8 for the odd dinner party if you like entertaining, or for housemates dinners and cooking together whenever that happens. My husband and I have a four year old daughter but are away travelling for most of the year at the moment and will be away currently until the summer with our rooms rented out while we are gone. When we are home we occupy the two rooms on the middle floor. We are very friendly and super easy going but yes we have a small child which changes the dynamic a little when we are there! :)

The kitchen opens onto the garden which is fab in the summer. There is a dishwasher, a rangemaster gas cooker and plenty of fridge space.

The current other tenant also on the top floor, is Pierre who is a yoga teacher and works for an NGO also very good vibes :) there will be two lovely human beings on the middle floor while we are away for the next 9-10 months. Vanessa who has her own start up and Scott who works in risk management. We always take extra care picking nice people to live here as it’s our precious home.

Though its a double room, we want to rent to just one person, not a couple.

We both speak Spanish as well as English. Pierre speaks Spanish and French as well as English and is learning Japanese!

Looking for a considerate, clean and tidy non smoker who will cooperate with things like recycling.

Longer let preferred, with preferably 6 weeks notice of leaving.
