A lovely north-facing double room is available in a warm and sociable shared house, just a 5-minute walk from Oval station on the Northern line. I'm moving out and looking for someone to take over my room from 25th May. It's a great spot for a young professional wanting a well-connected, comfortable home in South London.

The room:
• Generous north-facing double with plenty of natural light
• Furnished with a bed, wardrobe, and storage space

The house:
• Shared kitchen and bathroom with 4 friendly, easy-going housemates
• A cleaner comes to the house once a week, so the communal areas are always kept nice and tidy

The location:
• 5-minute walk to Oval station (Northern line, great for getting into central London fast)
• Tesco and Lidl are both within 10-12 minutes.
• Kennington Park right around the corner, perfect for morning runs or sunny afternoons
• Local high street just down the road with cafés, shops, and everything you need
• Gym right across the street if that's your thing

The financials:
• Monthly rent: £954 (bills are included)
• Bills contribution: £295 (one-off payment on move-in)
• Security deposit: 1 month's rent
• Holding deposit: 1 week's rent - paid upfront to reserve the room, and fully deducted from your total move-in payment once referencing is complete
