Great double bedroom available in Oval

I’m looking to find a replacement for my room in a great 3 bedroom flat in Oval. Tenancy to begin 01 October.

I’ve been living here for the last 2.5 years and absolutely love it but I’m moving out to live with my girlfriend.

The flat:
3 bedroom flat currently occupied by me (28), Dom (31) and Rob (27). I’ve lived with Dom (Australian) for the last 2.5 years; he’s a super easy going guy working as an occupational therapist in The Royal London Hospital. Outside of work, Dom spends his time running and cycling, having done a few marathons last year and going for the London marathon next year! Rob (Irish) moved into the flat in April and has been a great addition to the flat. Rob works as a recruiter for hedge funds in central London and loves a good chat about sport and exploring London’s pubs and restaurants.

They’re looking for someone male or female aged between 26-35, who’s both friendly and respectful of everyone’s space. They like to socialise in the flat and watch TV and chat together, but also enjoy having the space to do their own thing.

The flat has a spacious kitchen, living room and bathroom. My bedroom has a double bed and enough room for a desk if you work from home. The bed, mattress, wardrobe, mirror, chest of drawers and bedside table will be staying in the flat (I’m taking the desk and plastic drawers with me).

The flat is on the ground floor of a flat block. The landlord owns the whole block, which ensures that all flats are occupied by respectful tenants. There’s a great back garden anyone in the block can use and there’s parking available (you’d need to speak to the landlord about details for parking because none of us have had cars). There’s bike locks outside and also a bike shed to store your bike. The landlord is the best landlord I’ve had in London - super responsive with any queries.

The location:
In my opinion one of the best locations south of river.
- 10 min walk to Oval tube (Northern line)
- 15 min walk to Stockwell tube (Northern and Victoria lines)
- Loads of buses to central from a stop right outside our front door
- 20 min walk or 5 min bus to Brixton
- Buses west towards Battersea/Vauxhall and east to Peckham/Lewisham from the top of the road
- Tesco Express and Coop round the corner
- Lidl 10 min walk away
- Lovely parks such as Kennington Park and Myatt’s Fields Park nearby
- All sorts of restaurants on Brixton Road
