Gorgeous double bed in Oval with the best gals 🩷

Hi!

After one wonderful year, I’m very sadly leaving my lovely home on Vassall Road to move in with my partner, who’s just bought a flat nearby!

This house has been such a special, healing place for me, and I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier home. It’s an absolute gem, with loads of storage, brilliant transport links and, most importantly, three genuinely wonderful girls to live with! We’d love to find someone who will enjoy it as much as I have.

About the house 🏡

The house is set over three storeys, with four bedrooms, a downstairs toilet and an upstairs bathroom (with amazing water pressure and a bath!). We have a lovely kitchen leading out onto the huge garden, plus our cosy little ‘snug’ with a sofa, TV and cute fairy lights.

The location is brilliant:
8-minute walk to Oval station
15-minute walk to Stockwell station
5-minute walk to Kennington Park (lots of doggos) and Myatt’s Fields Park
Bus stop just around the corner with great connections across London, including Elephant & Castle, Victoria, Peckham and Brockwell Park
Co-op and Tesco Express just around the corner, plus a Lidl not too far away in Camberwell

There are also plenty of lovely local pubs, cafés and bars, range of gyms / yoga studios, and a little farmers’ market every Saturday morning.

About the room 🛏️

It’s a really lovely, bright and cosy double room on the top floor of the house. One of my favourite things about the room is its two windows, including one looking out onto a beautiful tree, which makes it feel so peaceful and cosy. It’s honestly been such a lovely space to come home to!

The room comes furnished with a double bed, new chest of drawers, bedside table, wardrobe and desk, so it’s perfect if you work from home too.

There’s also extra storage on the landing just outside the room, shared with Jen (honestly, I’ve never lived anywhere with so much storage!). There’s loads of space for suitcases and all those things you don’t want cluttering up your bedroom.

About your future housemates 💛

You’ll be living with Jen (26), Izzy (26) and another lovely girl who’s soon moving in! Our current housemate Phoebe is moving out this week to live with her partner as well, so we’ve recently found someone to take her room. This means you won’t be the only one settling into the house, which is always nice!

We all originally met through SpareRoom and have become really good friends, so it’s a lovely, welcoming household. Everyone works a mixture of days from home and in the office, and we love a house dinner, trip to the pub or a catch-up in the kitchen after work.

Equally, everyone has their own friends, hobbies and busy lives, so there’s a really nice balance of being sociable and having your own space. We’d love someone who wants to make this their home too!

The practical bits:
**Rent: £864.61 per month (there may be a very slight increase in early 2027)
**Bills: Approximately £100–£150 per month, depending on the time of year
**Available: 13 December 2026 (my moving out date)
