Lovely double room in Peckham

Hi everyone,

We have a lovely double room available in our apartment! Peckham Rye station is a 5-10 minute walk and we are on a great tree-lined road with a few cafes.

Our current housemate is moving in with her partner (only 5 mins down the road!) and the room will be available from August. The room has tall ceilings, wooden floors, and a bay window.

We are looking for someone who we can become friends with and can hopefully live here long-term. We’re a sociable house, and like to do things together, but we all have busy lives and jobs, and completely understand needing alone time. We are also a very clean household.

The rent is £920 per month, including WiFi and council tax. Other bills come to around £30-40 per month (electricity, gas, and water).

A little about who you’d be living with:

Kate has lived here for around five years, and in Peckham for nine years. She is a freelance writer and digital media strategist. You can usually find her at some kind of vintage shop, writing on her iPad (for sure an iPad kid), or going to see some art.

Lara moved into the flat in March, and is originally from Cardiff. She works in fashion and as expected, her outfits are always 10/10. You can usually find her going to see live music, seeing her friends, or visiting her cat in Cardiff.

Once we have enough messages through, I will start responding to arrange house viewings.
