Female house share in Peckham Rye

Hi everyone!

We're currently looking for 2 really friendly and considerate individual females in their 30's or 40's to become part of our household. (Please only apply if you're over 30!) Unfortunately we happen to be losing 2 house mates around the same-ish time (Stolen from us by their boyfriends Grrrr!), however we are confident we will find a great replacement :)

Our house is relaxed and homely. We have many different interests as well as creative pursuits and hobbies. A few of us are really into houseplants so you will have to be cool with living in the jungle! Our street is pretty quite and in a great location in Peckham. It always feels very safe where we live and it's only a 7 minute walk to Peckham Rye station. We are very close to Rye lane (2 mins walk), Bellenden Road (5 min walk), and East Dulwich's popular Lordship Lane (8 min walk).

At the moment we are looking for a short-ish let of around 6 months but it's possible that this could be extended for both rooms.

Room 1 - The room is a small double on the ground floor which is at back of the house, over-looking our garden so it's very quiet (other than the local London foxes!). The room is *furnished* (double UK bed with mattress, a built-in dressing table with a few draws and a large mirror, some built in cupboards, a bedside table/cupboard, a long shelf-style desk, plus a large 43inch TV on the wall, plus a few shelves, a long mirror, and a ottoman.

Room 2- This room is also a small double however *unfurnished*. It's at the back of the house on the 1st floor and has a lovely garden view. There will be a few shelves on the wall but that's mainly it. She is however more flexible regarding as to when she can move, so the date could be arranged for almost any time during April.

Sometimes we are graced with the presence of a small resident dog in the house, named Frida, so being a dog lover is quite important and the house is defiantly not recommended for anyone with a dog allergy!

We all feel very privileged to be able to enjoy some green garden space, a spacious living room with a big tv to watch films or series on, and both sofas are sofabeds and we love to welcome friends and family to stay for a few days here and there. We also enjoy a large social kitchen. The house is social but in a homely way as we sometimes have a few friends over for a drink, a chat, and some good food - so someone who enjoys the same would be great. We would also really like our new housemate to be able to take any initiative with the shared weekly cleaning jobs, since, although we are very laid back, we like a healthy and clean living environment.

£800 is including gas and electric, fast internet, council tax, water & waste services, and TV Licence. Both rooms are the same!
