After 7 wonderful years living together, my flatmate is buying his own place, so it’s time to find someone lovely to take his double room!
We have a cosy two-bedroom flat on Peckham Rye, in the heart of one of South London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
A little bit about me: I share my home with my two gorgeous rescue dogs, Kebbles and Lulu. They are a big part of my life, so I’d love to find someone who genuinely loves dogs, enjoys a cuddle on the sofa, and doesn’t mind having two furry companions around the house!
About the flat
The flat is cosy, bright and welcoming, with:
- Two double bedrooms
- A spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen
- A bathroom with a bath and shower
- Laminate flooring throughout
- Gas central heating and an energy-efficient boiler
- White goods included
About the room
The room available is a lovely double bedroom with a bed and a wardrobe. The furniture is different from the one shown in the pictures, but if you have your own furniture and would prefer to bring it along, that’s absolutely fine!
Location, location, location!
The flat is ideally located:
Just 3 minutes from Peckham Rye Station
Only 1 minute from the nearest bus stop
You’ll also be within walking distance of Rye Lane and Bellenden Road, with their fantastic selection of cafés, independent shops, food markets, pubs, bars and restaurants.
Peckham is full of life, creativity and great places to eat, drink and explore. Whether you enjoy a relaxed coffee, a weekend market, or a night out with friends, there’s always something happening nearby!
Who am I looking for?
Ideally, someone friendly, considerate, tidy and respectful who wants to make the flat feel like home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
Someone who enjoys a friendly chat, values their own space but is also happy to share the occasional meal or a cosy evening in would be lovely.
And, of course, you must be a dog lover! Kebbles and Lulú are part of the family, so being comfortable living with dogs is essential.
Tenancy details
It’s important to me that we both have equal rights and responsibilities, so the new flatmate will need to be officially added to the tenancy agreement.
The tenancy agreement is for 12 months, with no tenant administration fees.
Upon signing the tenancy agreement, you will need to pay one month’s rent in advance, plus a £776 deposit, which will be protected through the Deposit Protection Service (DPS).
Interested?
If you think this could be your next home, drop me a message and tell me a little about yourself!
I’d love to find someone who will enjoy living here as much as we do. Looking forward to meeting you — and so are Kebbles and Lulu!
