Mid Week Room + Resi gym Canary Wharf

I have a beautiful spare double room available mid week Monday - Thursday.

(possibly available as a full time let, see below)

· ABOUT THE SPACE ·

I run and interior design company so the flat is decorated beautifully and I would like to keep it that way.

The room is a small double, it has a full double bed, single wardrobe and desk with large mirror. There is other storage in the house we can offer if needed.

The room is furnished but we can clear it if needed.

There is a large sunny balcony which enjoys sun all day, and we have some outdoor furniture and lots of plants! (in need of a bit of TLC to be completely honest)

· ABOUT THE AREA ·

Canary wharf is the nearest place and its on the doorstep, around a 10min walk to the centre. We also have the canal next to us and you can walk to hackney along it, with many pubs on the way!

The flat is also 5-10 min walk from 3 DLR stations (Westferry (for bank), Langdon Park (for Stratford / Bank) and Poplar (Docklands / Tower gateway) and only 10-15min walk from the Elizabeth Line & all the lights and fun of Canary Wharf. Its very well located for Central London and also the fun of east London (super easy to hackney, Shoreditch, Stratford, O2 and Greenwich). I LOVE the area. I think is great!

The area and development is new, quiet and peaceful. I have put age 30+ as the development is quite tightly policed by concierge / security on site so would only suit someone who is professional. There is a no noise policy after 10pm even at weekends and parties are banned - neighbours complain frequently over any disturbance as they are all hard working professionals.

There was an on site shop, but this has just been bought by sainsbury's apparently, so watch this space - we are told 1-2 months before its open! There is a nice coffee shop & barbers on site and a beautiful park just outside the flat with another coffee shop and bakery (best sourdough in London!)

ABOUT US

I’m 44, and run my own business in interior design. I work in London in the week and often go to Wiltshire at the weekends to visit my teenage daughters who are 16 and 19. I also have a 24 year old son who lives in North London with his girlfriend.

My partner Joe is 32 and a Personal Trainer at Ultimate fitness (High end, luxury gym specialising in Body Transformations)

Both our jobs are high pressured and at the top of our game; we work long hours and our health and wellbeing is of upmost important so we can perform at work. But we also like to have a lot of fun!

We are both EXTREMELY tidy and clean haha - so no messy people please!

We both enjoy music (Joe is a drummer and likes to occasionally try guitar), music preferences tends to be EDM and metal / rock, but we like everything really. We also love wine, travelling, hiking and contrast therapy!

We love food, nutrition and are both 5-6 day a week gym goers - we take our training quite seriously. Joes job means he has to stay in really good shape and I do crossfit at the local box. We both like to compete. We are both outgoing, social and fun! We love a good laugh!

For our training and jobs are up at 5/6am and in bed by 9/10 most evenings. So would suit someone with a similar approach to life and is as determined and ambitious as we both are.

We occasionally have people over, but not often. If anyone its usually family visiting - we tend to meet friends out. It wouldn't suit a young night owl type person or someone wanting to party often and have people over. It just wont work with our schedule, our approach to life and the community.

Would love to have someone who would eventually become a friend, do stuff with us and we are totally open to couples - although the bed is small! We are not "keep yourselves to yourselves" types and we love making connections. We are both kind, caring and like making friends!

· AVAILABILITY ·

We would like someone in ASAP, with ideally having found someone by Oct 1st. We would offer 3 months to start with as we want to make sure it works for all of us. We can give a months notice if its not working after that, but for the right fit I think it could!

It may also be available weekends as a full time room but the reason I haven't listed it as such is because I tend to have my daughter/s (16/19) to stay one weekend a month (ish) so whoever takes this would have to be OK with that. I can put them on the sofa bed but it would be quite cramped.

On the plus side we are usually away 2 weekends a month so on these you would have it all to yourself!

It would suit someone best who works in London mid week and goes home at weekend.

We are more concerned with finding the right person rather than a quick find. So bear in mind we will want to meet you and have details on your employment, references and your hobbies / general schedule.

Cost is £300 a week / for the 4 nights or £1320 a month and includes:

All bills including WIFI (super fast)
Weekly whole flat clean and linen change
Residents Gym
On site Concierge
Netflix and Amazon prime account (on TV)
